Innovating for Impact Programme 2025
The Innovating for Impact Programme, delivered by Bukelani Institute, is a forward-thinking educational initiative aimed at equipping Grade 9 learners with innovation and problem-solving skills to address real-world challenges.
The Innovating for Impact Programme was implemented at four schools from eThekwini Metro, and King Cetshwayo. It ran from March 2025, and culminated in the Finals that were held at Durban Botanical Gardens on 10 July 2025.
This programme focused on fostering creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration among learners through a series of workshops and project-based learning, without community participation.

Social Enterprise Forum on Africa 2025
The Social Enterprise Forum on Africa 2025 builds on the success of previous forums, particularly the 2024 theme, Measuring and Communicating Impact.
As social enterprises increasingly demonstrate their value in addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges, there is a growing need to move beyond impact measurement and embed social change into systems and policies.
This year’s theme, Scaling Impact: From Measurement to Systemic Change, will explore strategies to scale impact, mobilize funding, build partnerships, and create sustainable ecosystems for social enterprises across Africa.
The forum will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and ecosystem enablers to discuss actionable pathways for embedding impact into governance structures, markets, and policies.
